Got My Pay is a personal budgeting app built around your bi-weekly paycheck cycle. It helps you reserve money for bills, track spending, and understand your true available balance for every pay period.
Every bill, no matter how often it's due, is converted to a per paycheck amount automatically. Your available balance tells you exactly how much you can actually spend right now.
All data is stored locally on your device. Nothing is sent to an server. Use Export to back up your data at any time.
Use Variable Bills for things like electric or water where the amount changes. Set the highest amount you expect to pay: the app budgets conservatively and updates automatically as you log payments.
Logging Payments is crucial even if the bill amount is lower than the reserved amount. The reserve will adjust based on your actual payments over time.
After a cycle fills up with enough payments, the app calculates your new highest amount and adjusts the reserved amount accordingly.
Each time you log a payment, the app looks back over your recent payment history (called a cycle) and uses the highest amount in that window to set how much it reserves from each paycheck.
Cycle length depends on frequency:
If your bill trends lower over time, the reserved amount will drop automatically once older high payments fall outside the cycle window. Until the cycle fills up, the app won't go below the starting amount you entered when adding the bill.
If you have extra income beyond your main paycheck (roommate rent, side gig), add it as Recurring Income. It's added to every paycheck period automatically.
Go to ☰ → Export Data to download a backup file and use Import Data to restore it on any device.
Got My Pay stores all of your financial data locally in your browser's storage. No data is ever transmitted to any server, third party, or cloud service.
You can delete all stored data at any time via ☰ → Clear All Data. Clearing your browser's storage will also remove all app data.
Got My Pay does not use analytics, advertising trackers, or cookies beyond what is necessary to store your local data
Thank you for trying Got My Pay! This version is completely free to use with no paywalls. If you find it helpful, please consider supporting the app on Ko-fi.
Got My Pay is built around the bi-weekly paycheck. Every bill, no matter how often it's due, gets converted to a per-paycheck amount so your Available Balance always shows what you can actually spend between paychecks.
This updates in real time as you log purchases and add paychecks.
Reserves always round up so you're never caught short.
Got My Pay is currently available as a web app, designed specifically for iPhone users as a quick way to start budgeting without needing the App Store.
If there's enough interest and long-term demand, I plan to build and release a full native version on the App Store.
The android version is also in the works and will be available in the Google Play Store sooon.
Thanks for using it. Your support means a lot!
A variable bill is any recurring bill whose amount changes: things like electricity, water, gas, or lawn service. Every time you pay it you log the amount, and the app adjusts how much it reserves from each paycheck automatically.
The app looks back over your recent payments and reserves based on the highest amount in that window: 12 payments for monthly bills, 6 payments for quarterly. This way you're always covered even if one month spikes higher than usual.
For bills with no set schedule (lawn care, car maintenance, pest control) the app works differently. Instead of tracking the highest, it totals everything you've paid in the last 12 months and spreads that evenly across all 26 paychecks.
Example: lawn service at $30 a cut, 15 cuts in a year = $450. The app reserves $450 ÷ 26 ≈ $17 per paycheck. Enter the per-cut amount to start. The reserve adjusts as you log real payments over time.
Enter the highest bill or per-occurrence amount when adding the bill. Log each payment as it happens and the app takes care of the rest.
